Our clients
We maintain a deliberately select group of long-term clients, each a leader in their field. They chose Pulse because they needed a system that could match their own unique processes — now and into the future. They stay because we deliver.
Call them directly. Our clients are our strongest supporters — and our best reference. We are happy to make introductions.
Southern Steel Group is the flagship of Australian independent steel. With 26 companies represented in every mainland state across more than 40 locations, the Group spans steel products, processing, sheet and coil, and distribution — operating at a scale that is simply unmatched in the private sector.
Our relationship began in 1999, when we first deployed Pulse across their processing operations. Over the following years Pulse has been rolled out to every one of their processing sites nationally, with new locations coming online each year. Every major Pulse capability — from the scheduling engine to the shop floor control to the Sigmanest Integration — has been shaped in partnership with Southern Steel Group's teams.
The Stoddart Group has grown over six decades into Australia's leading supplier and installer of products to the residential building industry, employing over 500 staff and contributing to construction on over 30,000 homes each year across five states.
When the Steel House Frames division evaluated options in 2005, they concluded that no off-the-shelf package could complement the processes that had made them leaders in their field. They needed their own system and a local team that owned the software. That decision led to a custom system deployment now surpassing its 20th year of continuous operation.
Primero Profiles is New Zealand's most dynamic steel plate processing operation. Specialising in cutting and folding of steel from 0.5mm to 200mm thick across three manufacturing hubs, Primero runs one of New Zealand's largest multi-torch oxy fuel cutters, a 20-metre high-definition plasma machine, the country's largest pressbrake capacity, and laser cutting — all with up to 24-hour processing capability.
When Primero's growth began outpacing their management systems, they invested in customising and expanding Pulse rather than plugging in off-the-shelf packages. One result was the Sales Inbox Management System (SIMS), which brought all sales email management directly into Pulse — a capability now deployed across the full client base.
The only way to deliver the level of service our clients receive is to limit how many we work with. If you are a steel processing job shop looking for a system and a partner — we'd like to hear from you.
